Hi, my name is Anna. My family moved from Russia to Toronto and I lived in Toronto for a little while, but have been back and forth to West Palm Beach, FL for the last 10 years. Of course, I visit Toronto a lot since my family is there. It's always nice to read about fellow Canadians :)

Each Spring since I moved from Montreal to the USA, I clamour for Hockey Night In Canada. Yes, I know I can get it on a dish somewhere, but we live in a highrise building which doesn't allow us to mount any dishes and besides, it's too expensive and not cost effective. However - that doesn't take away my need for Playoff Puck Action and the voices of HNIC - especially during playoff time.

Born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario - a small town in the Ottawa Valley. I married a my soulmate who is from here, and moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin in January 2006. I'm a computer guy by trade. I invite all Canadians out there to connect with me, especially those in and around Green Bay and Wisconsin. Hockey Fans especially!

Greetings. I am a Realtor living in South Florida. I love living in Florida with the 364 days of sunshine. Yes, there is one day of rain, LOL. I miss my Canadian friends and family but do manage to visit every Christmas to get my week of snow and cold fix, then I am ready to head back to warmth. :)

I am the happy product of the two greatest nations on earth; my mother from Canada and my father an American. During my childhood in the 1950s I shared values and experiences between my families that resulted in a lifelong career of cross-border business in paper, printing and publishing. Now, in near-retirement, I have re-started the Canadian-American Chamber of Commerce in the Northeast and Great Lakes states. I help companies and institutions on both sidea of the border do business with each other. My dual identity affords reconciliation between generally over-anxious U.S. citizens and reticent Canadian counterparts. I think both ways and can therefore bridge the misunderstandings. I'd like to meet more Canadians here and collaborate in enlarging our relationships. Our site is canamcc.org.

I met my future husband face-to-face for the first time in February of 2005. By the end of June we were engaged to be married. Rob is a teacher and therefore had come to spend the summer with me in Saskatchewan. We took a road trip to Niagra Falls and fell even more in love. After a lot of uncertainty of what to do concerning immigration procedures, we concluded that it would be more beneficial for us to be married before we filed the proceedings. We were married in front of his family on November 23rd, 2005. In February of 2006 I entered the US with the sole purpose of seeing a lawyer and visiting my family. I had a return ticket, and I still had a job. Our lawyer advised us that we could file for Adjustment of Status and I could stay here with my husband! Calling my mother to let her know I wouldn't be coming home for an unknown period of time was the hardest phone call I've ever had to make. I recieved my green card on July 18th and will soon be going home again for the first time. My husband and I reside in Lake Jackson, TX. If anyone is ever coming through, we would be delighted to meet you!

I moved to Florida in the 90s with my parents. I've lived here ever since but am still a Canadian. I have since married and had a son. I have family in both the U.S and Canada, and wish I could visit way more than I actually do.

Thank you so much for the Canada Day party supplies! We had a wonderful first birthday party for our son Archie, who was born on Canada Day. The banner and all the other goodies you sent really helped make the day special. We passed out party favors (maple syrup and other goodies) in the Canada Day Across America cups, and included a trade map for everyone as well. The winner of the Canada Day trivia contest got to take home the chocolate you sent. The party ended with everyone lighting sparklers and singing O, Canada. Thanks again!

I grew up in Walkerton, Ontario and met the sweetest man I've ever met in 1996 online. We got married in 1998 and settled in West Virginia near his family. We lived in Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2002. We have 2 wonderful children and I am a manager of a restaurant. My family are all still in Ontario and I miss them and Canada very much. We visit about once a year back and forth. One day maybe I'll move my family back home.

My husband and I moved to the US shortly after we were married in 1997. He is a nurse and I am a graduate of Western. We lived in Texas for 2 years and then moved to South Carolina to enjoy golf and be closer to other Canadian friends/nurses we met along the way. We now have 2 girls that were born in the US (but are dual citizens) and enjoy our life here. We both have challenging jobs that we love and many great friends, both Canadian and American. We get to go home every summer and we have many visitors, especially in the winter months! It is important for us that our girls know the Canadian culture and how special it is to be Canadian.
